Harry works with a variety of exercises, tools, and materials to help develop each person's use of voice and body. Whether speaking in a courtroom or in other public settings, the proven techniques Harry teaches will improve your social and job skills.

Below are some of the materials Harry has used in working with people to improve their performances, presentations, and daily interaction skills.

The VIPERS method to improve the use of your voice.

Proper use of six elements--volume, inflection, pitch, enunciation, rhythm, and silence will make you a better speaker and storyteller. Harry can work with you to show you how to incorporate these elements to be a more persuasive speaker.

The PEGS method to get your message across.

Research shows speaking relates no more than half the message--effective and persuasive communication depends on posture, eye contact, and gestures.  These three elements of nonverbal communication add your body as a means to clarify AND recollection of the message being conveyed.

A consultant who has studied TED talks, Vanessa Van Edwards, found those that were the most successful and attracted the most viewers featured speakers who used their hands the most.

The SPIT method to eliminate fillers.

The common use of fillers like "uh", "um" you know", "so" and others hurts the persuasive delivery of your message. Harry can show you relaxation techniques and other ways to make you a more effective and easier-to-listen-to speaker. Check out the Caroline Kennedy video under the Training tab for an example of how fillers can diminish your vocal effectiveness.
